Thank you for visiting this website to find out more about Spruce Interiors! Spruce is a redesign, staging, and interior decorating company founded in 2008, serving the greater Seacoast areas of New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts.
While I have been "sprucing" spaces all my life - starting with the challenge of co-existing with an orange shag carpet in my childhood bedroom - it wasn't until after careers as a teacher and a textbook editor that I realized that my true passion was for creating beautiful living spaces. Nothing thrilled me more than to move to a new apartment and spend joyful hours finding just the right place for everything. The light came on when I realized that I should be doing this for a living - and so was born my business, Spruce Interiors. I have followed my passion for decorating and re-design, working in a variety of settings, from nurseries in Minnesota, to New York City apartments, and finally to an array of New England homes.
At the heart of my work is a true appreciation for my client's "precious things" - those personal items that they have chosen to keep around, be they flea market finds, the latest home decor item from the department store, or a tattered family heirloom that just can't be thrown away.
As I myself have lugged my own precious things from state to state, I am sure to let each of my clients know that their own taste and style is by far the most important element in any decorating or redesign project that we embark upon. I do my best work when I have a full understanding of my client's preferences and assist in providing decorating guidance that serves to enhance their own personal style.
If you would like to love the room you're with,
it is my sincere pleasure to assist you.
